We experienced a couple of firsts in a tiny little local restaurant called Vicente's near where our friends Vicky and Mario live.

I think the fact that they were huge snails slightly put me off, I might try the smaller ones at some point.
We also had our first Paella of the trip (not ever) which was really good. Paella can be a bit hit or miss, so you have to choose wisely.

Everything was peeled and de-shelled ready to eat. The first of many good ones (hopefully).
